Sales Administrator
Established in 2008, we supply and install fencing and offer landscaping services to both domestic and commercial clients.
 Although much of our work is local to Malvern, we cover a 50 mile radius. We pride ourselves on high levels of customer service, with a strong emphasis on customer care and communication. Over the years, we have picked up accreditations and a positive reputation as a reputable company.
Worcestershire Fencing is growing and expanding. We now have a full-time position available for a sales administrater. This is a brand-new role supporting the managing director with administrative and business support tasks. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring forward ideas and contributions around how to shape processes and support the overall efficiency of the business.
Sales Administrator Duties and Tasks
The correct candidate will be responsible for-
- Handling customer service queries via phone, email and social media.
- Placing orders for materials, office supplies and tools.
- Producing written quotations and advising customers on product variations that suit.
- Investigating and resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Data entry and system management, including QuickBooks, Trello and Asana.
- Sending, monitoring and chasing invoices through QuickBooks.
- Paying invoices, following the terms from the supplier.
- Managing the diary for the estimator(s), booking in the work.
- Create customer profiles in QuickBooks, Trello and Outlook calendar.
- Write up and send Quotations. Following up and communicating with the customer.
- Collating data from our quotes and sales, creating and analysing results.
What experience do we require Sales Administrator to have:Â
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Relevant system knowledge, such as QuickBooks, Trello and Asana.
- Confidence in communicating and connecting with people from all walks of life.
- Good initiative and work ethic, alongside the ability to work well as part of a busy team
- IT, numeracy and robust English skills, both written and verbal
What we are looking for:
- A candidate with a flexible approach to work, able to manage time effectively and take responsibility for a variety of different tasks
- Administrative skills and preferably some relative or related industry knowledge.
- Customer focused, able to present to customers in a professional and approachable manner
- Strong communication, be that over the phone or over email.
- Strong organisational skills.
