Locum Senor Practitioner - Adults Assessment Team

We're currently looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Social Services Assessment Team on a locum basis in South East Wales. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to play a key part in supporting vulnerable adults and making a meaningful impact in the community.



What This Role Involves:

  • Qualified Adult Social Worker: You will need to be SCW registered, with solid experience in Adult Social Services and a good grasp of the relevant statutory frameworks.
  • Hierarchy of Support Reviews: You'll be responsible for carrying out these reviews, ensuring that individuals receive the right level of care based on their unique needs.
  • Supervisory Role: You'll supervise two Social Care Assessors, offering guidance, support, and ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered across the team.
  • Home Working Flexibility: You'll have the ability to work both remotely and from the office, maintaining a balance that works for both you and the team.
  • Person-Centred Care: Your role will focus on delivering person-centred, tailored care to adults, promoting independence and dignity while following all safeguarding guidelines.

To be considered for this post you should have held a post as an Adult's Social Worker. Driving is not essential to the role although will be beneficial.
