Expleo is seeking experienced Auto Electricians for an exciting new challenge within our Research and Development environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for automotive vehicle electrical support, including preparation, building, reworking, and fault diagnostics.

Location: Uttoxeter (5 days on-site)

Contract: Outside IR35/Inside I35

Responsibilities:

  • To investigate and diagnose electrical issues, using diagnostic equipment
  • Support Testing in static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results
  • Analysis of faults to effectively report issues to relevant areas of production and engineering.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Fundamental understanding of vehicle dis-assembly, assembly, & maintenance techniques
  • Vehicle system knowledge with the ability to fault find components and wiring, calculate voltage drops.
  • City & Guilds / BTEC / IMI Level 3 would be preferable within automotive engineering OR a recognised apprenticeship or qualification within a relevant field.
  • Ability to read and understand detailed circuit drawings.
