PageGroup are delighted to support a highly successful and rapidly growing Food Manufacturing business based in Uttoxeter with the appointment of a Training Manager to join a busy HR function.

Due to the nature of this sector, this is a site-based role

Description

This role of Training Manager is an exciting new role to the organisation come about due to rapid growth, you will report to the HR Manager and take responsibility for setting up the Learning & Development function for this busy FMCG organisation.

You will be involved in the full L&D life cycle for all staff from new starter inductions through to management and leadership development

  • Developing, implementing and overseeing training programmes within the company.
  • Identifying training needs and gaps in the organisation.
  • Collaborating with department managers to create training materials.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and updating them as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Managing the training budget.
  • Assessing the return on investment of any training or development programme.
  • Reporting on training activities and effectiveness to senior management.
  • Oversee a small team of Trainers

Profile

Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven Learning & Development background in a similar role.
