Our client is the financial services arm of a blue chip, international equipment manufacturer.

They are looking to appoint an experienced compliance and risk officer to join their UK head office risk team, based near Uttoxeter (3 days in the office).

Key responsibilities include:

* Assisting the senior managers in complying with FCA principles, rules and legislation

* Delivering compliance awareness training to stakeholders at all levels

* Maintenance of the compliance monitoring plan, ensuring adequate key risk management.

* Conducting internal second line audits

* Maintaining the company’s risk register

* Supporting the DP officer with DPA compliance

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of financial services legal and regulatory requirements (eg FCA, consumer duty, DPA etc), with strong commercial awareness, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team.
