Role Overview:

Our client, a leading SME business in its sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to lead their financial planning and analysis efforts across the organisation. As the Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic and operational support to senior management, driving business performance through financial insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Create and maintain financial models
  • Variance analysis, KPIs, and financial trends.
  • Develop dashboards to monitor financial performance
  • Collaborate with department heads and business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for financial goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or QBE.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
