Job Title: Junior IT Engineer
Location: Uttoxeter, United Kingdom (On-Site 5 days a week)
Rate range: 140 (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Contract
I am looking for a motivated Junior IT Engineer to join one of my biggest clients. This role is ideal for someone with little IT support experience or a graduate with relevant studies or internships. You'll provide first-line technical support and assist users with hardware and software issues.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Respond to IT service desk tickets.
- Assist users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Set up and maintain computers and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts and passwords.
- Support software installations and updates.
- Ensure user satisfaction with timely issue resolution.
- Communicate technical information clearly.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Due to the on-site requirement You must have a UK driving licence and own a Car/Motorcycle.
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Little experience in IT support or relevant internship.
- Basic knowledge of networking and hardware.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
