Academics currently have an opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher based at an Ofsted rated school of 'Good' in Uttoxeter. This position will be 5 days a week starting in January on a permanent contract but the role could start sooner for the right person.
This school is known to have combined unique learning techniques and curriculum and also they are eager to encourage learners to combine theory with practical activities; therefore, heavily promoting to students to put all learning into practice.
For this particular role you will:
- Be UK qualified (have QTS status). Applications from both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECT's) are encouraged to apply.
- Be required to teach Chemistry (or Science with a Chemistry specialism) at A-Level to Key Stage 4/5 and to have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes.
- Have strong classroom management with excellent subject knowledge.
- Be able to adapt quickly within the school and to be a good team player.
