Description

  • Oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Proactively identify and manage tax risks within the business.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure tax efficiency.
  • Provide advice on tax matters, supporting strategic decision making.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct tax audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Support the implementation of tax-saving initiatives.

Profile

A successful Tax Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
  • Professional certification in tax or accounting (e.g. ACCA, CTA, ACA) from a top practice
  • Solid knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
  • Prior experience preparing Corporate Tax
  • Prior experience in Customs tax would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience in industrial and manufacturing sector is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
