Sales Account Executive

Our client is looking for an individual to join their dynamic team as a Sales Account Executive, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This role is crucial for managing customer relationships  You will need a strong commercial mindset and ready to work closely with all departments and senior management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform informal and formal needs assessments for each customer
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a friendly and helpful manner.
- Represent the company positively at all times
- Participate in training sessions and apply new skills effectively.
- Foster positive working relationships within the sales and customer service teams.
- Accurately record customer information and sales orders
- Manage customer accounts
- Engage in daily outbound calls to existing and new customers, focusing on upselling.
- Handle incoming sales calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Keep customers informed about new products and updates.
- Process orders via phone and email and follow up on sample requests.
- Operate the Live Chat System to assist customers online.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for exhibitions, trade shows, and customer site visits across the UK. Valid UK Driving License required.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to make minor operational decisions without direct supervision.
