Sales Account Executive

Our client is looking for an individual to join their dynamic team as a Sales Account Executive, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. This role is crucial for managing customer relationships  You will need a strong commercial mindset and ready to work closely with all departments and senior management.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Perform informal and formal needs assessments for each customer
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Represent the company positively at all times
  • Participate in training sessions and apply new skills effectively.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the sales and customer service teams.
  • Accurately record customer information and sales orders
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Engage in daily outbound calls to existing and new customers, focusing on upselling.
  • Handle incoming sales calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Keep customers informed about new products and updates.
  • Process orders via phone and email and follow up on sample requests.
  • Operate the Live Chat System to assist customers online.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for exhibitions, trade shows, and customer site visits across the UK. Valid UK Driving License required.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to make minor operational decisions without direct supervision.
