The Role:
- Work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Support teachers and school staff in managing behaviour effectively.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to students’ individual needs.
- Act as a role model, providing guidance, motivation, and emotional support.
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and school policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Empathetic and patient, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Resilient and hard-working, able to handle challenges with a positive attitude.
- Experienced in working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional difficulties (school experience is desirable but not essential).
- Confident in managing challenging behaviour and de-escalating situations effectively.
- A strong communicator, capable of building relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Able to work well as part of a team and under the guidance of senior staff.
