We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Headteacher for a mixed secondary school located in Hillingdon, with the start date flexible for April or September 2025. As the Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to implement the school’s strategic vision, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and support staff and students in reaching their full potential. You will oversee the development of academic programs, lead key initiatives, and ensure the effective day-to-day management of the school.

Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and work in partnership with the Headteacher to deliver outstanding educational outcomes
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students
  • Lead and inspire staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment
  • Uphold the highest standards of teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring consistency across all departments
  • Drive school improvement initiatives and contribute to the school's development plan
  • Manage student behaviour and pastoral care, promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor staff performance and conduct appraisals, providing guidance and support for professional development
  • Develop strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community
