We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Lecturer to join our dedicated Built Environment team at a leading college. This role is ideal for professionals who are eager to shape the future of the construction industry through education. You will play a pivotal role in the planning and introduction of T Levels, enhancing our curriculum from Level 2 to Level 5 BTEC/Edexcel/Pearson courses in Construction and the Built Environment and Civil Engineering.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and coursework in Construction and the Built Environment as well as Civil Engineering up to Level 5.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues to innovate and enhance the curriculum.
- Engage with students to inspire and motivate them towards academic and professional excellence.
- Participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of teaching strategies and materials.
- Contribute to the administration of programmes, including planning, resource allocation, and student support.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the Construction industry.
- Strong commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior teaching experience is beneficial but not required as full teacher training will be provided.
