We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Lecturer to join our dedicated Built Environment team at a leading college. This role is ideal for professionals who are eager to shape the future of the construction industry through education. You will play a pivotal role in the planning and introduction of T Levels, enhancing our curriculum from Level 2 to Level 5 BTEC/Edexcel/Pearson courses in Construction and the Built Environment and Civil Engineering.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures and coursework in Construction and the Built Environment as well as Civil Engineering up to Level 5.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues to innovate and enhance the curriculum.
  • Engage with students to inspire and motivate them towards academic and professional excellence.
  • Participate in the continuous assessment and improvement of teaching strategies and materials.
  • Contribute to the administration of programmes, including planning, resource allocation, and student support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the Construction industry.
  • Strong commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior teaching experience is beneficial but not required as full teacher training will be provided.
