Your Role:As our ICT Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, engaging, and adaptive ICT lessons that empower students with the essential skills they need for the future. Your teaching will directly impact their personal growth, helping them to gain confidence and independence through technology.
Key Responsibilities:

Tailored ICT Lessons: Develop and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated ICT lessons that meet the unique learning needs of each student, with a focus on building essential life and tech skills.

Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one support and small group instruction, adapting teaching techniques to match students’ individual learning styles, strengths, and challenges.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, maintain accurate records of their achievements, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents to ensure continuous growth.

Classroom Leadership: Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated, supported, and respected. Manage behaviors and provide proactive solutions to ensure a calm and productive learning atmosphere.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to create personalized learning plans and ensure a collaborative approach to student development.

Innovative Use of Technology: Utilize assistive technologies and a variety of digital tools to make learning accessible and engaging for all students, ensuring their success in using technology as both an educational tool and a life skill.

Professional Development: Participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay informed about the latest advancements in ICT education and special needs teaching practices.

Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with students' families, providing regular updates on progress, setting goals, and working together to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student.

Contribution to School Community: Play an active role in the wider school community, attending staff meetings, contributing to extracurricular activities, and helping shape the school's mission and culture.
What We Are Looking For:We are looking for a committed and passionate ICT Teacher with the following qualities:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching ICT, ideally within a special needs or inclusive education setting.

A deep understanding of the needs of students with Autism, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.

An ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting and empowering students with special needs.

A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and outside agencies.

Proficiency in using ICT and assistive technologies to enhance learning.

A positive, proactive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
