HELP DESK OPERATIONS ASSISTANT | HILLINGDON | £24,000-26,000 PER ANNUM | 5 DAYS PER WEEK, MONDAY TO FRIDAY

We are currently recruiting for aHelp Desk Operations Assistantto work for one of our major clients inHillingdon. This client provides security services, mainly in the Rail industry. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week. Hours of work are08.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday.

The role involves taking and reporting faults, addressing issues, allocating work to engineers and updating clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Help Desk Team Leader in all aspects of the Help Desk duties.
  • Ensure HSEQ procedures are implemented and monitored
  • Ensure confidentiality of all correspondence and work related issues
  • Comply with timescales in accordance with contractual obligations for the rectification of damage and defects by use of the in-house systems in operation
  • To comply with Company Values and Behaviours and ensure that they are adhered to at all times
  • Raises work documentation for night work including Hot Works Permits.
  • Attend internal operational progress meetings.

Credentials/Training & Experience required

  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
  • Experience of Building Fabrics, doors, lock and entry systems and construction activities across multi-disciplinary projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Accurate / legible paperwork skills for reporting
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Ensuring that all fault reporting is correctly allocated, and all updates are on the System to ensure seamless handover to Nights and Weekend Operatives.
