Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assembly Operative (Fitting) to join our Client. The successful candidate will be working in the Fitting Annex Department, responsible for working as part of an assembly production team to assemble and inspect a range of complex sub - assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect a range of complex sub - assemblies such as Powered Retraction Unites, Snubbers and Auto Development Units as part of the manufacture of ejection seats.
- Use of technical drawings, build plans and acceptance of test procedures to build and inspect products.
- Assemble kits of components to the required standards and specifications using hand tools and other assembly equipment.
- Inspect and test products using gauges and automated inspection equipment.
- Inspection of finished articles and first offs using relevant Company standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the sector of AEROSPACE - essential.
- Previous experience in fitting from within a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings.
- Ability to use hand tools and gauges.
- Manual dexterity.
