Highly reputable Client, within the AEROSPACE / ENGINEERING industry, based in Middlesex, is currently seeking an Assembly Operative (Pressure Testing) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

Working in the Fitting Shop, you will be undertaking a variety of processes including the assembly and inspection operations to produce and test cables, pipes, high pressure hoses and gun components as part of seat assembly that will contribute to the success of the ejector seats produced onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Run programmes that test high pressure hoses to required technical and quality standards in accordance with the process specification including in each batch of hoses produced testing of a sample destruction,
Set up programmes for new components in accordance with parameters in the technical specification and quality standards.
Conduct injection moulding (mould tool set up, barrel configuration, material selection and preparation, programming and machine minding.
Carry out inspections in accordance with quality standards and issue the appropriate certificates and stamps.

Requirements:

***ESSENTIAL***

Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Basic manufacturing / engineering background.
Background in Health and Safety / QAI’s and COSHH regulations.
SAP.
MS Office.
