Our client local to Uxbridge is seeking an Import Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

The role involves coordinating import operations, ensuring customs compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Coordinate Imports, Sourcing, Repairs, and Return Material Authorization (RMA).
  • Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize the importation process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
  • Control the IPR process from RMA to Bill of Discharge.
  • Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and relevant paperwork.
  • Work closely with import brokers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with import regulations.
  • Organise and maintain comprehensive shipment records for auditing purposes.
  • Verify and review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless flow of information.
  • Communicate proactively with external partners to resolve issues and optimize the supply chain process.

This position requires a professional with experience in international transportation or logistics and knowledge of the Inward Processing Relief (IPR) process and Return Material Authorisation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential, experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise systems is beneficial (training provided if necessary).
