  • Document Preparation: Drafting and reviewing Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection applications.
  • Probate Administration: Managing the administration of estates, including complex matters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Client Interaction: Meeting clients in person or virtually to understand their needs and deliver proactive, solutions-focused advice.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintaining meticulous case and file management, ensuring adherence to Lexcel standards, and conducting regular risk assessments.
  • Business Development: Participating in marketing initiatives such as presentations and seminars, identifying opportunities to cross-sell services, and contributing to the firm's growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a cohesive team environment.
  • Professional Development: Keeping up to date with changes in private client law and engaging in continuous learning opportunities.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of PQE in private client law.
  • Have extensive experience handling wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, and inheritance tax matters, ideally with high-net-worth clients.
