We are partnered with a bio-pharmaceutical company specialising in the exploration, creation, and distribution of pioneering treatments for critical medical needs. They are dedicated to improving the lives of patients facing life-threatening conditions, and their mission extends to advancing healthcare worldwide. We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to join their team in Stockley Park on a temporary basis.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be proactive and solutions-oriented, always willing to go the extra mile. To be successful in this role, it is essential to have previous experience working in Employee Relations, ideally in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. Profile:

  • Relevant experience in the Employee Relations field and a BS or BA degree
  • Employment Law Degree desired
  • Experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry desired
  • Second language desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Broad knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures in Europe
  • Solid working knowledge and understanding of Human Resources legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures in multiple countries
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and provide strategic advice
  • Effective partnering skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work
  • Proficient with ER case management systems and comfortable exporting, interpreting, and summarising data for relevant audiences (e.g., HR leaders, business leaders, employees at large). Experience using ServiceNow or an equivalent case management system is a plus

Role Overview:

Join a dynamic Employee Relations team managing complex people issues in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner. You'll handle performance management, investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, terminations, reorganisations, and complex leaves of absence. You will act as a subject matter expert on International ER issues and provide guidance to HR Business Partners and Business Managers on managing employment risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address escalated ER queries and liaise with stakeholders
  • Manage and update ER data
  • Advise on company policies and employment laws
  • Support ER administrative processes and data accuracy
  • Collaborate on ER projects and process improvements
  • Conduct investigations and prepare summaries
  • Contribute to business change projects including acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, and reorganisations

Package:

  • Type of contract: 6 months FTC (03/03/2025 to 02/09/2025)
  • Location: Stockley Park, London - hybrid (3 days on-site required: Tuesday to Thursday, 2 days WFH)
  • Pay: £30-£40 per hour DOE
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (37.5 hours weekly)
  • Minimum experience: Relevant experience in the Employee Relations field
