Our specialist all-through School is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based therapy to young people with a range of special, additional needs.
We are a specialist school, providing provision for young learners between the ages of 3 and 19 with a primary diagnosis of Autism. Spread across three sites, our staff are dedicated in providing personalised learning in an autism friendly environment.Â
Prior experience of working with children with Autism is essential for this role.

Occupational Therapist – The Role:
•   Working as an Occupational Therapist within the schoolÂ
•   EHCP focused Occupational Therapy sessions – Pupils aged 3 - 19 years old
•   Plan and regularly review treatment programmes
•   Attend and actively contribute to Case review meetings
•   Collaborative working with Teachers and staff across the school
•   Work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the lead clinical psychologist, speech and language therapists, social workers and other SEN Specialist
•   Permanent, full-time, term-time positionÂ
•   36.5 hours per week: 8.30am – 4pm Mon – Fri
•   Pay Scale; Up to £53,000 (depending on experience)Â
Occupational Therapist – The Occupational Therapist:
•   MUST have Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
•   Registered with the HCPC and RCOT
•   Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
•   Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
•   Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
•   Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults.
•   Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
•   Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
•   Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work
