We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join a Tier 1 contractor, working on a variety of exciting projects within the aviation sector. The successful candidates will be based out of Heathrow, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model. Alternatively, the role can be based out of our Sidcup office, offering additional flexibility for the right Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of aviation sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects in a dynamic environment while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Overseeing project costs, budgets, and financial performance
  • Administering contracts in line with industry standards and ensuring compliance
  • Working closely with the project team to deliver cost-effective and timely outcomes
  • Preparing and negotiating final accounts
  • Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and ensure accurate cost control
  • Supporting project teams with financial advice and reporting

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the aviation or civils sector
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, including NEC contracts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
  • Flexibility to work from Heathrow, Sidcup, or in a hybrid working model
