Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assembly Operative (Pipes) to join our Client. The successful candidate will be working in the Pipes Department, responsible for manufacturing operations to ensure all products have been deburred, polished and any other processes required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use of program cards to be able to cut pipes using electric saws.
- Set up and operate pipe bending machines.
- Hand fitting pipes to the relevant form blocks and digital measuring equipment.
- Carry out inspections.
- Monitor the fitness for purpose of tools and equipment and provide replacement / recalibration.
- Requirements:
- Previous experience in the sector of AEROSPACE - essential.
- Advanced deburring techniques.
- Metal polishing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Must come either a manufacturing or engineering background.
