Part-time (30 hours on a shift rota including weekends)

Our client is seeking a Supported Housing Officer to manage housing and provide support to residents, ensuring they receive services tailored to their needs and helping them towards independent living.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide housing management and related support to a caseload of residents.
  • Monitor all rent accounts, ensuring regular payments and taking early intervention to minimise rent arrears.
  • Work collaboratively with Facilities, Property Management, and community operations teams to deliver optimal service.
  • Conduct Outcome Star assessments and create action plans tailored to residents’ needs.
  • Support residents in engaging with Progression activities and moving on to high-quality accommodation.
  • Ensure compliance with Tenancy and License conditions and address any anti-social behaviour.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Inform data management system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate standard of education (Housing Diploma or related qualification is desirable).
  • Experience in face-to-face support roles within supported housing, social work, or similar fields.
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of vulnerable individuals at different support levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advocate, negotiate, and mediate.
  • Good organisational skills and proficiency in IT.
  • Understanding and sympathy with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Must be able to work a shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
