We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant with a specialism in PHSE/English to join our SEN school team in Hillingdon. This role involves supporting the planning and delivery of lessons, providing targeted support to individual students or small groups, and collaborating with other Learning Support Assistants and teachers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the teacher in preparing resources and materials for lessons, ensuring they are suited to the needs of students.
  • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with other Learning Support Assistants and teachers to share best practices and strategies for supporting student learning.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions on student progress, interventions, and strategies.
  • Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualification in PHSE/English, ideally within an SEN setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
