Realise Education are workinbg with an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated school based in Uxbridge. Due to relocation, they are looking for a new cover manager to start immediately.

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a COVER MANAGER / LEARNING SUPERVISOR. The successful applicant will provide an efficient and professional organisation of the daily class cover arrangements to minimise the effect on student learning due to staff absence, provide classroom supervision during the short term absence of subject teachers and line manage 3 cover supervisors. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, calm, confident and proactive person who wishes to develop their organisational, managerial and administrative experience and / or explore a route into teacher training. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise your experience working with children to create engaging and effective educational programme.
  • Employ creative writing skills to develop curriculum materials tailored to individual student needs.
  • Educate and mentor students, including those with autism and special education requirements.
  • Provide tutoring and support to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders regarding student progress

Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
  • Capability of working collaboratively with a wide range of people, sometimes within sensitive, confidential and pressurised situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and deliver accurate work to required deadlines
  • Capability of working independently and show initiative resolving problems.
  • Excellent organisational skills, be hardworking and energetic.
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information and treating with discretion.
  • The ability to promote and safeguard the welfare of students at the school and to act as an appropriate role model for young people.
