Our Specialist School is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to teach and support children with a variety of learning disabilities, including autism and physical or sensory needs, within a vibrant and inclusive school environment.
We are an all-through school serving 170 pupils aged 4-19. Our small class sizes (8-14 pupils) are supported by skilled teaching assistants and therapy teams onsite, ensuring pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

SEN Teacher - Your Responsibilities:
- Teach and plan differentiated lessons for pupils across Key Stages 2, 3, or 5
- Monitor and promote pupil progress, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in reviews and meetings
- Lead subject areas or curriculum responsibilities as required
- Promote high expectations of behaviour and achievement in line with school values
- Support pupilsā social and emotional development, building strong relationships with families
SEN Teacher - Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching SEN pupils in mainstream or special schools
- Strong teamwork, planning, and assessment skills
- Commitment to inclusion, equal opportunities, and high expectations for all
