We are seeking an Aviation Lecturer to deliver engaging and informative lessons for a Level 3 BTEC Aviation course. This part-time position is ideal for a knowledgeable professional passionate about aviation and education. The role is based in West London and offers a competitive hourly rate, with teaching hours on Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 5pm until the end of the academic year.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver structured lectures and coursework to students enrolled in the Level 3 BTEC Aviation programme.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards and the needs of students at different learning levels.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide guidance and support to students, offering feedback and advice to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
- Maintain records of students' attendance, grades, and progress.
- Stay updated with developments in aviation and education to ensure the highest quality of teaching.
- Proven experience as an Aviation Lecturer or a similar educational role.
- Strong knowledge of aviation, ideally with professional experience in the field.
- Familiarity with the BTEC curriculum and requirements for aviation studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Organisational skills to manage teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
- Competitive hourly rate of £30 - £35.
