We are looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join our client's dynamic and vibrant team. This role involves delivering a range of courses to learners, primarily aged 16-19, to prepare them for careers in the health and social care sector. The successful candidate will teach across the BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that engage and challenge students, fostering their academic growth.
  • Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
  • Develop and update course materials in line with current industry standards and practices.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities and staff meetings.
  • Engage with continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ in Health & Social Care or current/recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
  • Experience in teaching or training.
  • Commitment to obtaining a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, if not already held (support provided).
