TD Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced contract manager to work for our client in Verwood area.
As a contract manager you would be reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure the efficient running of the contracts by effectively managing programming, commercial aspects and all resources associated with the projects, and to ensure that a quality service is provided to the customer.
You will negotiate contracts and deliver cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality, whilst ensuring that project deadlines are met
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring contracts are fully compliant with health and safety, quality, and environmental legislation as well as compliant with Modulek policies and procedures.
- Produce and implement a target program and monitor progress of construction to ensure the finished works are correct to the agreed specification, timeframes and costings.
- Lead, manage, train, and develop site teams, according to company procedures, policy and employment law maintaining a highly effective and motivated team to achieve profitability and revenue targets.
- Identifying potential supplier sources, conducting interviews with potential vendors, negotiating favourable supplier agreements, and managing supplier and vendor contracts.
- Co-ordination with the Sales Team on new and upcoming projects so that they are scheduled well in advance to optimise best procurement practice.
- CVR reporting, accurate cashflow forecasting.

Qualifications, Certificates and Licenses
- Full driving license, preferably clean
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, quantity surveying or similar
- Project Management Certification would be preferred
Experience:
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction for a Contractor
- Ability to administer JCT & NEC Contracts
- In-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements
- A proven track record of leading negotiations and securing the very best deals
- An excellent working knowledge and understanding of construction, modular construction, building regulations and planning
- Proven experience working to and achieving tight deadlines in high pressure situations
- Clear understanding of construction methods and technology
