Pratap Partnership is working exclusively with a business close to Wakefield to recruit an interim Financial Controller/Director to lead their finance team for at least three months, but more than likely longer.  The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and work  with a strong executive team.  This role would be suited to a qualified accountant, available at short notice, who has [previously operated at FC or FD level.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the finance team
  • Responsible for group consolidation of accounts and relevant financial reporting.  
  • Maintain group cashflow forecast.
  • Produce budgets at group level.
  • Manage the Audit process, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Work as part of the finance team proactively to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining professional relationships both internally and externally.
  • Involved in various projects
