Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Wakefield who are recruiting a Assistant Accountant. The right candidate will have a strong transactional background but will have made the next step and have worked across/overseen journal entries, accruals etc. This is a full-time office-based position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage intercompany financial transactional throughout the company
  • Generate and circulate weekly summaries for different entities
  • Administer purchase and sales ledgers throughout the company
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts for group reporting
  • Oversee the forecasting activities across various business locations

You will need to demonstrate:

  • AAT Level minimum
  • Actively studying towards ACCA (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate advancement in roles and responsibilities
  • Confident with transactional duties
