Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Wakefield who are recruiting a Assistant Accountant. The right candidate will have a strong transactional background but will have made the next step and have worked across/overseen journal entries, accruals etc. This is a full-time office-based position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage intercompany financial transactional throughout the company
- Generate and circulate weekly summaries for different entities
- Administer purchase and sales ledgers throughout the company
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts for group reporting
- Oversee the forecasting activities across various business locations
You will need to demonstrate:
- AAT Level minimum
- Actively studying towards ACCA (desirable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate advancement in roles and responsibilities
- Confident with transactional duties
