Our client is a well established charity that provide many services to the local community of Wakefield and the surrounding areas, these services support all ages and the charity is well respected locally. They now need an administration support/customer service administrator to join their team and support 6 staff with their diary management and be the first point of contact on the phone, email, social media and face to face to the young adults who are accessing services. There are many people, local to Wakefield, who access the charity for community support and guidance and a friendly, caring and approachable nature would be suited to this role. This role will require a DBS check.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to enquiries received via phone, email, social media or in person in a timely manner
  • Actively listen and understand the needs of individuals and provide information and signpost to the most appropriate service
  • Record messages in detail from others and ensure they are passed on in a timely manner
  • Manage records for services and individuals inputting data accurately
  • Book venues for internal and external events and arrange refreshments if needed
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and provide follow up administrative support
  • Arrange documentation including letters, agreements, booking forms
  • Support and liaise with the Communications and Marketing Officer
  • Cover reception duties as required
  • Liaise with Finance and HR for support with bursaries and any additional funding requirements
  • To be aware of the company safeguarding policies for children, young people and vulnerable adults and follow procedures as necessary

This role brings a very generous holiday entitlement and will require a DBS check.
