Role: Senior Design Engineer
Location: Wakefield based permanent work with a forward-thinking company.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours)
Salary: 40,000-60,000 per annum with additional benefits

Requirements:
- Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with the use of CAD packages, mainly Solidworks or Inventor
- Proven track record with design and development
- Experience with the design of special purpose machinery
- Able to work solo and as part of a close knit team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Involvement in the design and development of innovative products from concept to completion
- Provide Bills of Materials
- Design of special purpose machinery
- Using CAD packages to create 2D/3D Designs.
- Report to Drawing office manager and work closely with colleagues.
- Continuous improvement
