Business Development Executive

Wakefield, office based.

18,000 to 24,000(depending on experience) + commission.

My client is a rapidly expanding business with sustained year on year growth. As a result we now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist in the development of new business and existing account management. Previous sales experience is desirable, however candidates with experience in any customer facing role will be considered, provided you possess the willingness and ability to learn and progress.

The role will be located from their officein Wakefield. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Follow up live quotations by email and phone provided to customers until a sales outcome is achieved.
  2. Source new business opportunities utilising our database.

Maintain the sales team database/spreadsheets.

Desired Experience and Attributes

  1. Previous experience of sales is highly desirable.
  2. Ability to clearly present solutions to client challenges.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Basic Microsoft office skills.

Proactive, confident and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
