Are you a passionate nursery professional looking for flexible work opportunities? Tradewind are seeking experienced nursery staff to join our supply team for a nurturing nursery environment based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. These are usual school hours, working from between 8:30am until 3:30pm.

As a supply nursery staff member, you will play a vital role in supporting our children's learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging atmosphere where children can thrive, while also ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that foster children's development across all areas of learning.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Support children's individual needs and interests, promoting their social and emotional growth.
  • Maintain high standards of care, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support children's development.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery setting is essential.
  • Qualifications: You must hold a relevant TA qualification, a minimum of level 2, Level 3 or be a qualified nursery nurse.
  • Availability: Full-time availability is crucial, as this position offers regular work opportunities at a reputable nursery.
