CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator
Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: Permanent Nights (Mon - Thurs, 6pm - 6am, with 1-hour break)
Salary: 45,760 per annum
Are you an experienced CNC Turner with expertise in programming, setting, and operating Haas lathes? We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator to join our growing team in Wakefield, working permanent night shifts. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to varied and interesting projects, working with high-precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and programme HAAS SL30 and ST10 lathes to produce components to drawing specifications and tight tolerances.
- Produce high-quality components, ensuring they meet the required drawing tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the Production Manager.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in setting, programming, and operating Fanuc or HAAS.
- Ability to use relevant inspection measuring equipment effectively.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused work.
- Awareness of health and safety standards.
- A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Minimum City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant discipline) is desirable.
