Job Title: Sales Office Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Office Manager to join our client's team and lead their Customer Service department to new heights. In this role, you will have the opportunity to motivate and guide a talented team, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the Customer Service team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Develop the team through effective training and management.
- Recruit and train staff, ensuring the department is well-resourced.
- Plan and organise tasks to accomplish specific goals.
- Provide cross-functional support to help teams achieve their objectives.
Quality:
- Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service, maintaining efficient and compliant processes.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to resolve customer issues and implement process improvements.
- Participate in ISO and Ethical audits as required.
- Proactively address quality issues and take necessary steps to prevent their reoccurrence.
Duties:
- Allocate workloads to ensure timely and accurate processing of sales orders.
- Communicate with customers regarding changes in delivery dates, quantities, etc.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and escalate concerns.
- Inform customers about any delivery shortages and provide alternate solutions.
- Support team members with process queries and resolve escalated issues.
- Maintain databases, raise credit notes and invoices, and manage return logistics.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning and updating customer information.
- Maintain load calculators and update customer portals.
Requirements:
- GCSE in Maths and English.
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external customers.
- Strong administration skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and ability to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience leading a team is preferred.
- Knowledge of D365 is advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (45 Minutes unpaid lunch).
- Early finish on Fridays at 3:30 pm.
- 37.5-hour workweek.
