Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant (TA) Primary School in Sandal, Wakefield

Trust Education is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the central Wakefield to start after the Easter break, on a full-time temporary basis, with potential for longer-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective EYFS education.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of activities to encourage learning and development.
  • Provide one-on-one support for children who may require extra support.
  • Help create a positive and nurturing environment that promotes curiosity and growth.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Education-based qualification (although candidates with relevant experience are still encouraged to apply)
  • Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Be patient, compassionate, and eager to support young learners.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a proactive and adaptable approach to supporting children in their learning.
