SEND Teaching Assistant- Special Needs Provision (WF7)

Full-time / temporary to permanent contract

We're currently recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for a Special Needs Provision based in WF7. The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can support pupils who range between the ages of 11-19. This role will be full-time working from 8:30am - 3:30pm and is to start as soon as possible.

The school is looking for passionate and enthusiastic candidates who has a background in working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs.

The school are looking for an experienced candidate who has availability to start in January 2025 and who has a Level 3 Childcare qualification or relevant experience for at least 1 year. Applicants who apply without this qualification/experience visible on the CV will not be shortlisted for this position.

Successful applications will have:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or strong relevant experience
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
