Teaching Assistant key responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one support to students or small groups.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Help with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Provide additional support to students with special educational needs.
- Participate in planning and preparing instructional materials.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement educational programs and initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with primary school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and adapt to a dynamic school environment.
