Our client based on the outskirts of Wakefield is a leading provider of electrical engineering solutions, specialising in the design, assembly, and installation of high-quality electrical systems. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Wiring Technician to join the team

As a Panel Wiring Technician, you will play a critical role in assembling, wiring, and testing to ensure they meet industry standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire control panels based on electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Ensure all wiring is neat, efficient, and compliant with safety and quality standards.

• Carry out panel testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality.

• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace.

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the workshop and on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a similar role.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components, including relays, breakers, and control devices.

• Familiarity with tools and techniques required for wiring and testing.

• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
