The position requires a meticulous and analytical Commercial Finance Analyst to join our industrious team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will provide key financial insights to aid in strategic business decision-making within our thriving industrial/manufacturing sector.

Description
This is a key role in the Finance team and duties include, but not limited to:
- Business Partnering the Manufacturing and Projects teams
- Maintain and review weekly Project revenue and margin reports, highlighting any risks or opportunities
- Provide governance over the Projects team
- Complete month end revenue recognition process
- Review Project invoice applications and raise Project sales invoices
- Process sub-contract invoices
- Prepare monthly sub-contract and purchase order accrual
- Support with analysis for monthly management and board packs
- Maintain weekly cash flow forecast
- Maintain budget and forecast models
- Seek system and process efficiencies including playing a key role in the implementation of job costing software
- Ad hoc tasks as required by the Executive Leadership Team
Profile
A successful Commercial Finance Analyst should have:
- Fully qualified account CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Experience in a commercially focused role, preferably within Construction
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Highly motivated, ambitious and organised
- Comfortable working under pressure and at pace; able to demonstrate working within a team and to own initiative, taking responsibility for continuously driving improvements
- Excellent in your communication and interpersonal skills, you seek opportunities to influence or initiate change relevant to the business.
