Description
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to continue to develop and shape a new and exciting finance offering to the business stakeholders and therefore at the outset will require one-time investment in improving some of the finance processes. The successful candidate will also have a big role to play in shaping a newly rolled out ERP system; setting up reports, reconciliations and ensuring group reporting requirements are met.
The role will report directly to the Finance Director and the role will primarily lead the production of key financial information relating to Monthly and Annual reporting requirements including responsibility of P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow reporting and all that typically contains.
The successful candidate will lead a small finance team and be responsible for the day to day running of finance operations.
- Responsible for monthly reporting.
- Responsible for statutory obligations including Stat accounts, Tax computations, VAT, P11D, and NSO.
- Key point of contact for Year End Audits and liaising with audit teams
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Preferably from a manufacturing, retail or general FMCG background.
- Experience of working with standard costs.
- System driven with experience of Dynamics 365
- Experience of report building and liaising with non-finance team members - predominantly sales.
- A dynamic, self-starter with a passion for owning problems and delivering results.
- A critical eye for process improvements
