The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Wakefield area. We are looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver (CAT C1) to join the team on a temporary/ad-hoc basis.
Hours:Shifts across Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Start times between 6-8am.
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE
Location:Wakefield, WF2.
Job Type: Temporary/ad-hoc with an opportunity for more ongoing work.
The role:
Driving a 7.5T vehicle for home and business removals.
Assisting with loading and unloading this role involves a lot of manual handling.
Working with a drivers mate to complete jobs efficiently.
Providing excellent customer service during the removal process.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with 7.5 Tonne entitlement (category C1).
Minimum of 1-yearproven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
