About the Role:
A leading interior fit-out company is seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for shopfitting and interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and take-offs
- Source and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop project budgets and schedules
- Prepare tender documents and contract documentation
- Liaise with clients, designers, and contractors
- Use estimating software to prepare accurate costings
- Review project progress and identify potential cost variances
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating for shopfitting and interior fit-out projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., WinQS, CostX)
