Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies.
- Support and mentor Maths teachers, promoting professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in a subject lead or similar leadership role is highly desirable.
- Experience working in SEMH, Pupil Referral Units (PRU), Alternative Provision, or with challenging behaviour is essential.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
