Description

  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans in line with the organisation's goals.
  • Part of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Champion a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR team.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to align HR policies with business goals.
  • Manage the annual HR budget.
  • Implement effective training and development programs.

Profile

We are seeking an inspirational and proactive HR leader who has the following:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within education or a similarly complex, multi-site organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices, and strategic workforce planning.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent leadership experience).
  • Experience in culture change, employee engagement, and organisational development.
  • Demonstrable success in managing complex HR projects, change management, and restructuring initiatives.
  • A collaborative and people-first approach, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • A passion for working at an organisation with a strong social-purpose.

Job Offer
