We are seeking an IT & Business Change Project Manager for a critical role in this Profit-For-Purpose organisation based in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will excel at driving strategic business changes and managing IT projects and portfolios.

Description

This role blends your knowledge and experience of digital / technology project delivery with your change management skillsets. This Project Manager role is not just fully IT-focused. You will leverage your experience of IT solutions, digital / ecommerce / on-premise / cloud solutions at high-level, and facilitate change and delivery. YPO is looking to push many legacy systems to more cloud-based solutions, with all the data and business change considerations that brings.

  • Managing and delivering IT and business change projects in a timely manner
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand and implement strategic objectives
  • Leading project teams and coordinating resources effectively
  • Overseeing the project life cycle and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule
  • Identifying and managing project risks and issues
  • Communicating project status and progress effectively to all stakeholders
  • Providing training and support to team members and end-users
  • Ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Profile

A successful IT & Business Change Project Manager should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management / Change Management / IT Transformation
  • Experience in managing IT projects and implementing business changes
  • Strong leadership and matrix management skills with a strong awareness of Business Analysis
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Adept at managing a portfolio of diverse projects with challenging stakeholder requirements and opinions, and operating with high degrees of ambiguity.
