Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher

Salary Scale: £140 to £190 per day

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join an inclusive school in Wakefield. This role is ideal for someone who can motivate students and foster their development both academically and socially.
As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in French, Spanish, or German to students of varying abilities, inspiring a love for language learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Responsibilities of an MFL Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons (French, Spanish, or German) across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Ensure that lessons meet the needs of individual learners, adapting teaching approaches as required.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work closely with the Head of Department to maintain curriculum standards and innovation.
- Maintain an organised and engaging classroom environment.
Required Qualifications for an MFL Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
